Yama nami bujutsu kai

The Mountain Wave Martial Arts Association is open to anyone (individual or organization) searching for a non political organization which provides the opportunity to increase ones knowledge and skill while also advancing in rank. We also provide rank homulgation services to those who need such assistance. Our association currently provides these opportunities to those who are studying the following classical martial arts disciplines:

• Bukijutsu

• Iaido

• Iaijutsu

• Judo

• Jujutsu

• Karate

• Karate-Jutsu

• Kobudo

• Kobujutsu

• Korean Karate

• Sogo Bujutsu

• TaeKwonDo

Yamanami-ryu is the name given to our martial arts style and serves as the governing body for all Yamanami-ryu students whether one is studying a classical heritage art such as:

• Yamanami-ryu Aikijutsu

• Yamanami-ryu Bukijutsu

• Yamanami-ryu Iaijutsu

• Yamanami-ryu Jujutsu

• Yamanami-ryu Karate-jutsu

• Yamanami-ryu Kobujutsu

Or a student of our Sport Karate or Sogu Bujutsu system.

Yamanami-ryu Sogo Bujutsu Kai is the association responsible for the complete and full transmission of Yamanami-ryu.

Students learn grappling, striking and weapons arts all based on classical studies but taught in a complete system. Once students complete their Sogo Bujutsu Studies then they are given the chance to earn Black Belt ranks in the various heritage arts.
